Global Business Strategies (GBS) combines a range of programs to help your business begin or expand internationally through:
• Accessing in-depth trade counseling, market research and assistance with exporting, importing & foreign investment issues.
• Meeting professional leaders with practical global experience and how they have implemented international trade and investment.

Global Business Networks:
Learn how to take advantage of global markets through an exciting new KWTC partnership with Greater Louisville Inc. (GLI) – Global Business Networks.
Build your expertise in select international markets by participating in the quarterly Global Business Networks of your choice. Open to the public, each Global Business Network will focus on the intricate, often complex details of doing business in a particular market, and give you the chance to learn from other local companies currently doing business in those markets.
Networks have been formed for these markets and will meet on a quarterly basis:
• China, Russia, India: Three expanding market leaders, each making significant impacts on global business.
• Europe, Latin America: Two established markets that provide good opportunities for international trade.

"How to Succeed in Central America"

Speakers: Sergio Perez with Lexincorp Costa Rica
Sergio Pérez, an Attorney with André Tinoco in Costa Rica, will discuss how to benefit from the CAFTA-DR agreement in Central America. He will also cover the most important legal aspects of doing business in Central America, including distribution agreements and their regulations, joint ventures, and the opening of subsidiaries and their legal structures.
