KWTC now accepting applications for
World Trade Success Awards

The Kentucky World Trade Center invites your company to apply for the World Trade Success Award for 2009.

The Kentucky World Trade Center’s international trade success award is a prestigious award recognizing outstanding Kentucky companies involved in world trade.  The Awards Committee is made up of KWTC staff and Kentucky's key international trade associations who work to identify the very best international trade success stories to be spotlighted at an annual awards luncheon.

Each year over 400 representatives from business, industry and government sectors gather to recognize firms for outstanding achievements in international trade at the World Trade Success Awards Luncheon.  Organized by the Kentucky World Trade Center, the luncheon has become the Commonwealth’s largest annual gathering of international trade professionals.  This year’s program will be held on September 4, 2009 at the Galt House Hotel in downtown Louisville, and will also include a delegation of foreign dignitaries assembled to speak to attendees about doing business with their country.

Recent winners include LINAK, TubeMaster, Northern Kentucky University and Wild Flavors. (Click here for full list.) This year’s winners will be recognized and celebrated for their outstanding international trade achievements, and will be presented with trophies at the KWTC World Trade Success Awards Luncheon.

We will have an honored keynote speaker at the luncheon, and Governor Beshear has been invited to deliver an address regarding the State of World Trade in Kentucky.
There are no fees or obligations associated with selection as an award recipient.  We ask only that the winning companies plan to have a representative attend the Awards Luncheon on September 4, 2009, that they agree to allow media coverage of their summarized success stories, and that they attend the press conference taking place before the luncheon program.
